CVAN Events

For each season, CVAN has something to get involved and mark on your calendar. Take a look at CVAN’s events throughout the year:

Men For Change

Each spring, men and men's groups contribute $100 each. Anyone can contribute $100 in honor or memory of a man. And we collectively support CVAN's services for battered women and their children. Everyone is listed in a full-page newspaper Ad on Independence Day weekend 7/5. By giving your name, you take a public stand against domestic violence. Click Here to learn more

Tucker Garden Tour

On Saturday June 13th, Carolyn and Bob Tucker opened up their amazing Gardens to benefit our services for battered women and their children. 335 of us enjoyed their private gardens including some new additions this year, such as an enchanting Moon Gate. Click Here to see more.

Women 4 Women

Mark Your Calendar for Saturday 8/15/20! Women 4 Women is about women coming together to raise money for CVAN - raising money for peaceful days and shelter nights. There is no ticket cost, but everyone will be asked to make a gift. Last year, over 600 women attended! On an August afternoon, we share a summer meal. And, like a good movie, we have fun and at the same time, pause for what is serious. Hear the stories of struggles and of triumphs of women and meet new and join old friends. Domestic Violence Awareness BBQ

Mark Your Calendar for Thursday 10/1/20! October is domestic violence awareness month. At the start of each October, we come together as the CVAN family to enjoy good food, good company and to celebrate what we have done together. We learned more about domestic violence and re-commit for the coming year. Click Here to learn more
